Another one-hitter for the Padres. Still the last active MLB team without a no-hitter in franchise history. Cashner’s game will go down in the Padres history books though… as Padres.com points out, he was “the first pitcher in club history to face just 27 hitters in a nine-inning complete game.” Not too shabby.
