Fox Sports San Diego has a new TV show… by creator Dallas McLaughlin, and he’s asked my buddy Woods (of FM94/9 and Cantore & Woods fame) and me to be panelists on the first episode. Pretty exciting stuff… but what the hell is it? I’ll let Dallas explain, from the Off Base blog.
You might be wondering what is Off Base? Well, it’s a brand new show airing on FOX Sports San Diego every Wednesday after Padres Live! It’s one part Late Night talk show, one part sports show, and one part other things. Every episode will feature a panel of all star guests, Emmy nominated* sketches, and games we make up the night before that we not only play with our live studio audience, but with viewers at home as well!
“Live studio audience?”, you ask.
Yes, every episode of Off Base is filmed in front of a live studio audience at a wonderful place called The American Comedy Co. in Downtown San Diego. If you’re interested in attending a taping, and you should be, there’s a box to sign up for tickets right on the homepage of our website: offbasetv.com!
Here’s the best parts: It’s FREE to get in, and it’s 21+ which means there’s beer!
