The game last night involved Eric Stults striking out 12 and Huston Street giving up a home run in a tie game… but, the focus quickly shifted to Will Venable’s RBI single with the bases loaded in the 10th inning to give the Padres a 3-2 walk-off win. Padres take The Vedder Cup. That’s when the lovely and talented Kelly Crull stepped up to interview Venable… and Yonder stepped up to drench him. I assumed a pie in the face was coming… not a Powerade bath. I was wrong. Kelly was clearly not expecting it either.
She’s the one hiding behind a see of orange. I do think it was kinda bush of Yonder to not come from the back, and avoid getting Kelly all drenched in Powerade. I wasn’t nearly as offended as Judson over at XTRA1360: That was Crull what he did to Kelly. No writer, ladies and gentlemen. What a clown, that Judson.
Later, poor Kelly was in “desperate need” looking for some help on twitter on how to get the Powerade out of her clothes.
Gentleman that he is, I’m sure Yonder will be cutting her a check for some new clothes. Oh, and if you’re wondering where Kelly came from since this is her first year as a reporter for Fox Sports San Diego… she worked the sidelines for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
She’s a real doll.
