LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – Louisville Metro Police Spokesperson, Alicia Smiley, says the body found at Churchill Downs’ Barn 8 this morning is that of an Hispanic male. LMPD “suspects foul play” and has ruled the incident a homicide.
According to Smiley, the body was found just before 5 a.m. by a security guard. Police have not identified the dead man and he had no identification on him. There was no sign of a struggle. Police have no suspects at this time.
An autopsy is expected to be performed Monday.
Holy crap. Straight outta Murder She Wrote. Obviously there’s more to it than they’re sharing. You don’t just “suspect foul play” and rule it a homicide…especially if there are no signs of a struggle. That’s murder mystery 101.
