It’s the Little Old Lady from Pasadena…

This woman… Rachel Veitch, is 93 years old and she just stopped driving her 1964 Mercury Comet Caliente after putting 576,000 miles on it. “I am legally blind, so I can no longer drive my lovely Chariot,” she says. Unbelievable. I thought I was so pimp for driving my 1989 Toyota pick up truck, which I didn’t get until 1995, up to almost 300,000 miles. This grandma puts me to shame. What kind of Toyota truck was my ’89, you ask? Tacoma? Tundra? No. It was the Toyota truck. The only one they made.

Slow clap for grams handing in her license not because she’s 93… but because she’s blind.

Props to grams for logging that many miles, but she’s got nothin’ on Irv Gordon. 2.7 million miles and counting on his old P1800.

Hey, I guess they’re right. Senior citizens, although slow and dangerous behind the wheel, can still serve a purpose.
