Has Any Lobster Tried One of the “Top 50 Beers of 2012″?

The above image consists of the Top 5 beers of 2012, according to ratebeer. Have any of you tried any of these? TBL posted this link and I went through it, I haven’t even had one… hell, I’ve only heard of a few of the fifty breweries. I’d like to make it a goal of mine to try the Top 5 at least. The rest of the time, I’ll just crush Miller Lite. Here is the list.

    #9 is from San Diego.

  2. Michael says:

so… we’re in the top 10 at least

  3. Silver says:

If you ask your friend at Public House those are all probably too expensive for you.

  4. Dave says:

Come on BP, you can get most of those beers at your local Whole Foods. A few of them are from SD and I gaurantee many are on tap in the finer pubs (i.e. not Bubs, Miller’s Field or the other shweaty bars you usually frequent).

The answer is easy, one a week for all but 2 weeks of the year. You got this…

I’ve had #9 (not a huge fan), #16 (Yard House usually has it on tap), #19 (I like most Firestone beers), and #44 (stuff is intense, somewhere between beer and motor oil-but generally Port is my favorite San Diego brewer). Haven’t actually had Stone’s Russian Imperial and am looking forward to touring Three Floyds this year.

  5. Cohner says:

    Had numbers 16, 20 and 30.

  6. Dave says:

Alesmith’s Anvil and X Pale Ale are better.
