SI – Eighteen-year-old Cassius Clay was all the rage in Italy after winning the gold medal in the light heavyweight division at the 1960 Summer Olympics in Rome. He would go on to enjoy a successful pro career, retiring in 1981 with a 56-5 record, with 37 knockouts.

Even then, he knew he was the greatest. Happy 70th Birthday, Muhammad Ali.
