The Chargers are Toast

I just realized I haven’t even acknowledged that the Chargers lost to the Lions or that they were eliminated from the playoffs. I guess that loss pissed me off so much that I was too frustrated to write about it. I’ve said for the past 4 weeks that the Chargers were not going to make their miraculous December run again and make the playoffs… but it was because I thought it was too little too late. I did think we’d win out, I just didn’t think the Broncos would lose out. I was right, but wrong. We lost.

Anyway… there’s always a bright side, right? Now Norv’s definitely gonna get fired. Now we all get what we wanted… a new coach. Who’s it gonna be? Will AJ Smith join him? The arguments are endless. Cue all the continuous Gruden, Fisher, Cowher chatter.

    FML. 2012 goals…

    Fire Norval.
    Fire AJ.
    Dump Jammer.
    Get Denard (http://bleacherreport.com/articles/994575-matt-barkley-returns-to-usc-updated-nfl-mock-draft/page/17)

Try winning, see if it suits us.

Cowher is not coming unless AJ is gone. Cowher hates AJ. Smith fired Marty Schottenheimer, Cowher’s mentor, after Marty went 11-2 (or something like that), and Cowher is still pissed about that.

there’s a huge web of scenarios if AJ stays or leaves… once we know if he’s gone too, the coaching list shifts. i agree though, cowher won’t work with AJ
