That’s UCLA’s final practice. That’s Neuheisel on their shoulders. Even though fans weren’t pleased with Neuheisel at UCLA, his players loved him…. and I love that. That’s some Feel Good Freshness, my friends. Video of Neuheisel talking about it here.
According to the LA Times:
Asked whether he could have received a better tribute, Neuheisel said, “It’s tough to imagine. It’s meaningful when you work to create relationships. You want the best for them. You want them to achieve what they are capable of achieving. Despite the fact that we didn’t win enough games, I think they are achieving as people. I am extremely proud to be a part of this team and I’m looking forward to a grand finish.”
There will always be people around you that fail… people that you care about. That’s tough to see, but it’s in those moments they need you the most. That’s why I love this. Go Bruins.
