Hey Google Doodle Punks! It’s MLB Opening Day!

Robert Bunsen's 200th Birthday

I love Google Doodles. I really do. They are generally cool and clever. I don’t even know if that’s what they are called. When I google’d them, I searched “google image for special days”. I typed that and immediately felt like a 3rd grader. Nice search, bro. Either way… why’d I do this? Because I’m pissed at Google. Sure, they’ve been known to fail before… badly, but this time really pissed me off. Instead of honoring Major League Baseball Opening Day 2011 with their Google Doodle, they put up a buncha bubbling beakers instead to honor the 200th Birthday of Robert Bunsen. Robert Bunsen?! The friggin’ High School Chemistry Bunsen Burner guy?! He didn’t invent fire. Guess what, he didn’t even invent the stupid burner! Some dude named Peter Desaga did. If you’re a dork or you don’t believe me. Read up on it, nerd.  HEY GOOGLE!! IT’S OPENING DAY!! Think about it, Google, this clown turns 200 years old every 200 years at least… but Opening Day only happens ONCE a year. Once. So, next time, take your collective heads out of your collective arses and get it right! Here’s how’d I would have done your Google Doodle Banner for this year’s opening day. You can totally use it for next year if you want… I’d change the date though.

Just because I’m ripping stupid google doodle today, and I feel kinda bad for it, here’s a few that are pretty cool.

Robert Louis Stevenson's 160th Birthday

Harry Houdini’s 137th Birthday
50th Anniversary of JFK’s Inauguration
Thomas Edison’s 164th Birthday
Halloween Scooby Doo Tribute

Next time, don’t be dumb Google. Be baseball.
